Follow the mentioned instructions and fix the issue:
• Once the Norton is expired, uninstall the application first.
• Then restart your computer. Now run the NTR and choose the Purge Norton.
• Now again install the Norton.
• Next you need to disable the Norton Product Tamper Protection. Also stop the application, if it is scanning or updating.
• To reset the Norton to its default trial days, choose Normal Reset.
